The safari begins in Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli

Depart from Nairobi and travel south to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.

Amboseli features diverse landscapes, from dry open plains to lush swamp areas fed by underground water flowing from Kilimanjaro’s melting ice caps. These swamps attract a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, and numerous bird species. You may also encounter members of the Maasai community, whose culture is closely connected to the region.

Day 2
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After an early morning departure, drive toward Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint for photos.

On arrival, visit Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, geothermal activity, and open landscapes. The park offers a unique safari experience and is famous for inspiring scenes in The Lion King. Wildlife sightings may include zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes, all set against striking volcanic scenery.

After the day’s activities, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Begin the day with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and a wide variety of birdlife, including fish eagles and pelicans. This is followed by a guided walking safari in a nearby animal sanctuary, offering close encounters with giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Later, depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving with an en-route game drive through the reserve. The Masai Mara is best known for the Great Wildebeest Migration and its high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a guided walking safari led by Maasai Morans, followed by a Maasai cultural visit, where you learn about traditional customs and lifestyle.

Day 4
Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara

Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara on full-day game drives, carrying a packed picnic lunch. The reserve offers excellent opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and large herds of grazing animals.

An optional visit to a Maasai village is available for those interested in cultural interaction. Later in the evening, enjoy a relaxing sundowner experience as the sun sets over the vast savannah plains.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Masai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy a morning game drive in the Masai Mara before departing for Nairobi.

On arrival in the city, enjoy lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, known for its authentic Kenyan dining experience. After lunch, you will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your 5-day Kenya safari adventure.
